Another good up day for stocks. There is a very good chance that stocks will get back to double green status, depending on today's Close. So, we can still add a few positions.

Stock positions:

IEX was added at $197.11, yesterday's open price.

We will be adding PEP at the Open today. It's on a Buy signal and R has just turned positive. It's always important to have some diversification and keep a few less risky names.

TTD, our dBuy entry, is not doing well. MoM is tuning back down, which mean we have to take the loss. We will close it out at today's Open price.
spBuy and dBuy trades are more risky. You will get some quick winners, but also some larger losses to take. When a trade is not working, get out and move on. Waiting for a losing trade to come back is one of the most common traders' mistakes.
Could TTD start doing well right after we sell? Yes, that will occasionally happen too. But more often than not you will be happy you took the loss when it was still small.

Stock indexes have jumped into Buy signals. We can add some positions, but trying to buy on weakness after a 2.5% jump is usually a good idea. Of course, stocks could move on without looking back.

Stock positions:

ANET and MCHP opened much higher, so we didn't get great entry prices. But that's how it goes with buy on open.

IEX is on a Buy signal and will be added today. Also at Open.

Note that one of our special entries, PPLT, is giving a Buy signal. That is the aim with dBuy trades. The rebound has taken the stock into bullish mode and we are in from a much lower entry price ($172.43). With the RevL at $176.46 we have a risk-free trade with continuing upside potential. We can hold on until there is a pP or Sell signal.

Our other dBuy trade is not doing well. TTD is down quite a bit, but MoM still points up, so we hold another day. Not acting well on a strong up day, that's a red flag. If MoM turns down we will have to get out and take that loss.

GOOG was entered at yesterday's Open, and is up quite nicely already.
We have buy signals for ANET and MCHP, which will be added at the Open today.
In your own trading it is always good to use limit orders and try to get in on weakness. But for the purpose of this trading journal we keep it simple.
The more sophisticated strategies are reserved for subscribers of reversal levels.
