SPX is also giving a wBuy signal, one day after NDX and RUT already did so. Some wBuy signals work just fine, others turn into a failed rally (bull trap) rather quickly. If there was an easy way to predict what will be the case, then I would use it. But I have not found such a method. All we can do is trade the odds. And the odds for wBuy signals are slightly worse than for standard Buy signals.
Stock positions:
CTSH was closed at a small 1% loss and has been moved to the completed trades list.
This may seem odd for newer traders, but about 70% of our attention goes to controlling and taking losses. The winners take care of themselves, if you let them. Taking out three 10% wins is of no use if we have a 30% loss on the fourth trade, hoping that it would come back. It is never the small losses that ruin accounts.
